Targeting More Research In DRTPM 2024, FBS UNP Holds A ToT For Proposal Writing

PADANG – The Faculty of Languages and Arts of Universitas Negeri Padang (FBS UNP) held a Training of Trainers (ToT) for Writing DRTPM Research Proposals in the FBS UNP Meeting Room on Monday (11/12). The event opened by Vice Dean II, Prof. Indrayuda, M.Pd., Ph.D. was attended by prospective trainers within the FBS UNP.

“This ToT is targeted to be attended by 16 FBS UNP lecturers who will become trainers in their respective departments,” said the Vice Dean II, Prof. Indrayuda, M.Pd., Ph.D. in his opening speech.

The participants will be assigned to their respective departments to improve the quality and quantity of research proposals so that more proposals are submitted.

For this reason, FBS UNP invited Prof. Dr. Anton Komaini, S.Si., M.Pd. as the head of the UNP Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM), and Dr. Zikri Alhadi, S.IP., M.A.

Prof. Dr. Anton Komaini, S.Si., M.Pd. presented tips for writing a DRTPM research proposal. He explained how to write briefly and concisely. He mentioned the importance of following templates, using references, and doing synchronization in BIMA. He hopes that by delivering the materials, the trainers will be able to explain them to the lecturers of their respective departments or study programs.

Meanwhile, Dr. Zikri Alhadi, S.IP., M.A. explained errors that can lead to rejection of proposals submitted to DRTPM, including administrative errors. He also detailed the technicalities of writing proposals which are keys for lecturers who will submit theirs.

The Dean of FBS UNP, Prof. Dr. Ermanto, S.Pd., M.Hum., expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the Proposal Writing ToT which is expected to become a driving force in each department. It is hoped that ToT participants can share the information conveyed by the speakers to all lecturers of their respective departments.
