Head Of UNP Library Invites New Students To Make The Most Of Library Facilities

Padang – In a series of Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) on Tuesday (20/8), UNP Library introduced various facilities and services available at the UNP Information Center and Library. This activity took place at the UNP Auditorium and was attended by new students.

The Head of UNP Library, Dr. Asrul Huda, S.Kom., M.Kom., along with a team, including Ridha Prima Adri, S.Sos., M.Ikom., and Sri Yulianti, S.IP, explained about various library facilities that can be utilized by students during their studies.

Dr. Asrul Huda explained about the various collections owned by UNP Library, ranging from general collections that include books from various disciplines, to ebook collections that can be accessed online. In addition, the library also has a collection of scientific journals, both national and international, as well as a collection of institutional reports that include various research results and scientific works from academics at UNP. The speaker also gave a detailed explanation of the procedures for borrowing collections, from the registration process to returning books, which can be done by students.

In addition, Dr. Asrul Huda also introduced various online services provided by UNP Library. These services include an online catalog, access to electronic journals, and online book ordering. These facilities are designed to facilitate students in accessing various library resources from various locations.

“UNP has the UNP Repository, which is a collection of digital documents containing scientific works, theses, theses, dissertations, and other publications produced by UNP academicians.” said Asrul.
