BEM FIP UNP Students Organize Environmental Care At Ujung Batu Beach Padang
Padang – Students of BEM FIP UNP (Executive Board of the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang) conducted Environmental Care Activities (ANGKLUNG) around Ujuang Batu beach (Koto Tangah) Padang City on Saturday (31/8).
This environmental care is one of the work programs of the Community Social Service of BEM FIP KM UNP. This environmental action activity was carried out in conjunction with the Upgrading Activities of BEM FIP KM UNP 4.5. The aim is to have a positive impact on others to increase concern for the environment, as well as foster the value and sense of shared responsibility for protecting the environment.
During the beach cleaning activity, a lot of garbage was found on the beach, which is the shared responsibility of both local residents and beach visitors to raise awareness to pay more attention to the surrounding environment.
Hopefully, awareness and a sense of shared responsibility will be stronger to protect the environment. This is also a form of real action of student activities outside the campus so that it has a real impact on residents and the surrounding environment. (BEM FIP UNP / UNP Public Relations)
