UNP Students Join Green Impact Days Organized By SRE Indonesia And Rakyat Merdeka At Sabuga ITB

Padang- Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) students from the Society of Renewable Energy UNP participated in the Green Impact Days activity held by SRE Indonesia in collaboration with Rakyat Merdeka with the theme “Towards Indonesian Food, Water and Energy Security” at Sasana Budaya Ganesha (Sabuga) ITB on April 29-30, 2024. 

This event was held to increase the literacy and awareness of Indonesian youth on the issue of green energy and sustainable economy. The event was opened by the Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK) and the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Siti Nurbaya.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of the winners of the 2024 National Environmental and Climate Student Competition (NECSC). In addition, the event was also filled with talk shows with the theme “Energy and Environmental Ecosystems to Prevent Climate Change”, featuring various resource persons who are experts in their fields.

This activity was attended by all representatives of SRE Universities throughout Indonesia and for representatives from Padang State University, represented and attended by Galang Aufa Rafiqi Harahap, a student of the Department of Civil Engineering as President of SRE Padang State University 2023/2024.(Silfi Roboati / UNP Public Relations)
