Padang Government Awards Gold Pin To UNP Academician Prof. Indang Dewata

Padang – In the momentum of the 355th Anniversary of Padang City on July 7, 2024. The Padang City Government also gave awards to a number of individuals who have contributed a lot, dedicated and served with real results for the development of Padang City.  

One of the people honored with the Gold PIN is Prof. Dr. Indang Dewata, M. Si who is currently Deputy Director I of Academic Affairs at the Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) and also Professor of Environmental Science FMIPA UNP.

The award was directly pinned by Pj Mayor of Padang Andree Algamar in the Plenary Room of the Padang City DPRD Aie Pacah Padang City.

UNP Rector Krismadinata, Ph.D when asked for his response by UNP Public Relations said “We congratulate Prof. Indang Dewata for the award he received and thank the Padang City Government for its choice of one of the UNP academics who took part in environmental development in this city and even nationally and he is certainly very committed both when he was a bureaucrat in the Padang City Government and as a lecturer here.”

Meanwhile Prof. Indang Dewata on the sidelines of the series of events said “Alhamdulillah and thank you to the Padang City Government and those who gave us the trust to receive this gold pin from 10 figures” said the son of Agam who is also the former Head of LH and Head of Education of Padang City.

Previously Prof. Indang Dewata had also received awards in the form of Gold Pins from BKKBN RI (2019), Outstanding Education Head from the Governor of West Sumatra (2014) and Best Outstanding Lecturer in Science from the UNP Rector (2021) and finally today a Gold Pin from the Padang City Government in the field of Environment (2024) (Er / UNP Public Relations)
