FIK UNP Training Lecturer Achieves Intermediate Referee License To Improve Athletic Sports Achievements

Lampung, July 11, 2024 – Sports Coaching Education lecturer at the Faculty of Sports Science, Universitas Negeri Padang, Dr. Eko Purnomo, S.Or., M.Pd., M.I.Kom, achieved an extraordinary achievement by obtaining a license certificate as an intermediate level athletic referee. This is a continuation of the basic level referee license he obtained in Jakarta in 2022. Dr. Eko Purnomo managed to achieve a score of 87 in the license exam, proving his competence and the right to continue to the main level.

Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Nurul Ihsan, M. Pd together with Vice Dean 2 for HR and Finance Prof. Dr. M. Sazeli Rifki, S. Si., M. Pd. also felt proud and gave appreciation for this brilliant achievement. “We will continue to support the development of human resources carried out by FIK UNP lecturers. In addition to providing pride for the institution, this achievement will also provide a good assessment of the quality of education that we offer,”.

This achievement is not only a matter of personal pride, but also a great asset for Dr. Eko Purnomo to serve in local and national athletic championships, strengthening his role in the world of Indonesian sports.

In Universitas Negeri Padang, the position of main referee is currently only held by one person. With this achievement, Dr. Eko Purnomo has a great opportunity to continue the important role of Madya athletic referee, support the development of sports at Padang State University and show his contribution as an educator and activator in the field of sports.

This achievement is also an inspiration for students and fellow lecturers to continue to develop themselves and achieve the highest possible achievements in their respective fields.
