Bachelor Study Program In Tourism Holds Lectures With A Lecturer From The University Of The Sunshine Coast Australia

Padang – Bachelor Study Program in Tourism of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) held a lecture on Introduction to Marine Tourism Science taught by Dwi Pratiwi Wulandari, SST.Par, MM.Par. with the teaching team of Prof. Michel Lueck, a Marine Tourism expert from the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, on Monday (13/11/2023).

Written information received by UNP Public Relations on Tuesday (19/12/2023), this lecture was moderated by Pasaribu, SST.Par, M.Si.Par., CHE on November 13th, 2023. This course which is jointly taught with foreign lecturers, is a compulsory study program course which is also a characteristic course of the Bachelor Study Program in Tourism, named marine tourism.

In the lecture held from November 13th to December 11th, 2023, Prof. Lueck presented theory and best practices regarding the Positive and Negative Impact of Marine Tourism, How to Analyze Marine Tourism Potential, and Sustainable Marine Tourism.

Through this international collaboration in learning with Prof. Michel Lueck, it is hoped that the insight of students of the Bachelor Study Program in Tourism regarding marine tourism will not only be on a national scale but also on an international scale to support UNP as a World Class University.
